Here are the dates of shooting Sundays that we have to cancel, due to commitments to quite a few village shows over the next few months.

SUNDAY 6th JULY

SUNDAY 3rd AUGUST

SUNDAY 17th AUGUST

SUNDAY 7th SEPTEMBER

Sorry for the inconvenience... However, if your not shooting, you could always come and help out at the shows, it's fun, and you get in for nothing
(which is always a bonus)

Show dates for 2008.

Go to the 'Village shows' page to see where we're going to be this summer..... then you can come along and have a go at archery!

Kirknewton Archers
Kirknewton Archers- that's us , so we are.

stick with a cloot tied on it

We're at Kirknewton - We do Archery.
Kinda says it all, so it does.

We shoot at paper targets in the Village Hall and, when the weather's fine, out in Farmer Colin's fields at bigger paper targets and occasionally a stick with a cloot tied on it.

It's a pity about the Midges though, they have teeth like mountain lions.

We're saving like mad and hope to buy, at some time in the not TOO distant future, an Eight Foot, Foam Rubber, Grizzly Bear.
Then we'll shoot at that as well.

It's a hoot.

Some people just come to drink the tea/coffee and eat all the biscuits. That's why I bring my own biscuits and hide them.
"Don't touch my biscuits, fool."

We want you to think of this web site as a window into our Club that you may stand and stare through and marvel at the bizarre, amusing and sometimes embarassing things we do and say. You might even learn summat about Archery(??)

Club members can also keep up to date with what's going on as far as shoots, events, competitions and other club activities are concerned.

Click onto the other pages for more drivel like this.

(B.T.W., ta very much Colin for the use of your excellent facilities.)
